Based in Cheadle, Cheshire, Michael has over twenty years experience as a professional photographer. He is especially known for his sensitive and enduring portrait photography of children and their families.
"My passion is photographing people" says Michael. "It is hugely satisfying to know that fleeting moments in time captured today will be my clients' most treasured family possessions tomorrow, and I feel privileged to be a part of that".
A qualified, award-winning Master Photographer, Michael is highly regarded by his fellow professionals. He is one of a select group of photographers from all over the world who have been invited to speak at the annual SWPP International Photographers Convention in London. Michael's seminar for 2008 was a two hour presentation on Lifestyle Portrait Photography.
Michael's photographic career started in newspapers and magazines. His photographs have been published in the Daily Telegraph, The Photography Year Book, Nursery World, Child Education and the British Journal of Photography, to name but a few.
He also works closely with local charities including the Royal School for the Deaf and Communication Disorders (RSDCD) and St Ann's Hospice.
